lester

i found this. apparently i started a poem about him a few years ago. never finished it. here it is in horribly - emphasis on horrible - rough draft form. dont judge. im just rather amused by its horribleness.

Snorkling and honking and snorfing
wheezy breaths and gurgles
His face against my own; inhaling me noisily

Walking on a grave like the best of them
Craning his neck in the air
His big amber eyes fixated
ostrich like in his enthusiasm
my fingers spooning out his broth

his poofy tail swishes in the air
intoxicating; fluffy
twitching before the pounce
a menacing blow to the sparkly flamingo
a tentative roar, mehrrr

a kitty cat by darwin standards
yet actually a mixed species
a puzzle darwin has never
stumbled across in the galapagos
goose ostrich lion kitty
leste

lester's song written by neal :) he has a video of it but its on my FB

"Lester the Lion Kitty
Has a face that's not too pretty
Lives in a Southern City
Called Memphis Tennessee
He's a peculiar Persian
Inbreed is his version
Of a one of a kind of cat is he.

he Walks Around with a Snorkling Sound
Got no Nose
but He always Knows
Where Karen happens to be
where Karen happens to be
He always knows
Where Karen happens to be.

hmm

I hear from Lester's sister that he wants to fight me now that I am living across the country with my old childhood cat.

"Some of the pictures are  1-2 months old but the later half were taken yesterday.  I know his little eye ball will never look quite the same, sad.  BUT I do think that he is able to see out of it to some extent.  I told him that you were sleeping with other cats now and trying to replace his love.  His heart is broken and he is willing to fight Black Cat to regain your affectionzzz.  Name the time and place - he'll be there!"
